Tripura ITI Admission, Admit Card, Entrance Exam and Results

To fulfil the demand of skilled workers that are required in different industries, Government of India in the year 1950 introduced the Craftsman Training Scheme throughout the country. The training ensures the flow of skilled workers in various domestic industries to raise the industrial production both qualitatively as well as quantitatively. All these efforts are the initiatives taken by the government to reduce the unemployment among the youth and to cultivate and nurture the technical and industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation.

All these efforts showed great results in the fields of Vocational Training, shaping craftsmen to meet the existing as well as future manpower needs of various industries through the network of ITI’s in the country. To understand the need of the day, The Government of Tripura has introduced the first Industrial Training institute at Indranagar, Agartala in the year 1958. At present the state boasts 7 ITI’s in the state imparting technical education to the students.

The candidates who want to get enrolled in various Industrial Training Institutes of the state should be 15 and 25 years of age. Students can apply online as well from the portal of Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour Government of India. Admission forms are available generally in the month of June/July every year and training commences from 1st August.
