Meghalaya ITI Admission, Admit Card, Entrance Exam and Results
Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Labour Department, Government of Meghalaya is responsible for imparting technical skills to the youth to fulfill the requirements of various industries. The basic qualification to get enrolled in various trades in ITI’s of Meghalaya is 10th class and the minimum age is 14 years. Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) under the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) is implemented through ten government industrial training institutes and one private Industrial Training Institute. Admission to Government ITI is based on the merit in qualifying exam followed by personal interview conducted by duly constituted Local committee attached to each ITI.
After completion of training, trainees are required to appear in All India Trade Test (AITT) and successful candidates are awarded the National Trade Certificate (NCT) which is recognized for employment in central as well as state Government establishments.
